NTPC Mining Recruitment 2024 Eligibility

a) Age Limit:

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 30 Years
• Maximum Age for Vocational Training Instructor: 40 Years
• Age relaxation as per govt rules

b) Educational Qualification

1) Mining Overman:

• Candidates must have a full-time regular Diploma in Mining Engineering with at least 60% marks.
• They should also possess Overman’s Certificate of Competency under CMR from DGMS for coal and a valid First Aid Certificate issued by Institutes recognized by DGMS.

2) Magazine Incharge:

• Candidates must have a full-time regular Diploma in Mining Engineering with at least 60% marks.
• They should also possess Overman’s Certificate of Competency under CMR from DGMS for coal and a valid First Aid Certificate issued by Institutes recognized by DGMS.

3) Mechanical Supervisor:

• Candidates should have a full-time regular Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering with at least 60% marks.

4) Electrical Supervisor:

• Candidates must possess a full-time regular Diploma in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering with at least 60% marks.
• They should also have a valid Electrical Supervisor certificate of competency covering mining installations issued by the appropriate government.

5) Vocational Training Instructor:

• Candidates must have a full-time regular Diploma in Mining/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with at least 60% marks.
• Additionally, they should possess a valid Overman/Foreman certificate of competency from DGMS (restricted/unrestricted), and
• a valid First Aid Certificate issued by institutes recognized by DGMS. Minimum 5 years of working experience in mines is also required.

6) Junior Mine Surveyor:

• Candidates must possess a full-time regular Diploma in Mine Survey/Mining/Civil Engineering with at least 60% marks.
• They should also hold a Surveyor’s Certificate of competency issued by DGMS under Coal Mines Regulation (CMR).

7) Mining Sirdar:

• Candidates applying for this post should have passed Matriculation (10th) and
• Possess a Mining Sirdar Certificate.
