Selection Process
The BSSC CGL selection process consists of two crucial stages: the Preliminary Exam and the Mains Exam. Here is a brief overview of each stage:
- Preliminary Exam: The Prelims Exam serves as the initial stage for candidates. BSSC CGL Mains Exam Pattern:
- There shall be total 250 Questions asked in the BSSC CGL Mains Exam 2024.
- The Mains exam has been divided in 2 Section : Paper -1 and Paper -2.
- Paper-1 will have 100 Questions and shall carry 4 marks for right answer with time duration of 2 Hours and 35 Minutes.
- Paper-2 will have 150 Questions and shall carry 4 marks for right answer with time duration of 2 Hours and 35 Minutes.
- To be eligible for Paper 2, candidates must score a minimum of 30% marks in Paper 1.
- Paper 2 consists of three sections: General Studies, General Science and Maths, and Reasoning Ability.
- There is a penalty of 0.25 Marks (1/4 marks) for each wrong answer as well.
