Note: All the exams will be held through online mode and will be of objective type. All sections (except English Language section & Hindi Language section) will be bilingual (i.e., will be asked in both English & Hindi). There will be both sectional as well as overall cut-offs in the IBPS RRB 2024 Officer Scale-I (PO) exam. 1/4th marks will be deducted for every answer attempted wrong by a candidate in IBPS RRB 2024 Exam.

The IBPS RRB Clerk exam is conducted in 2 different phases:

  • Preliminary Exam

1. IBPS RRB Clerk Prelims Exam Pattern 2024

The Preliminary Exam consists of two sections: Reasoning and Numerical Ability. Each section carries 40 marks, making it a total of 80 marks. The duration of the exam is 45 minutes. Candidates must clear the cut-off of each section. The cut-off for each section is decided by the team of IBPS depending on the level of difficulty of the paper.

IBPS RRB Clerk Mains Exam Pattern 2024

The Mains Exam consists of five sections: Reasoning, General Awareness, Numerical Ability, English Language/Hindi Language, and Computer Knowledge. Each section carries a different weightage of marks. The total marks for the Mains Exam is 200. There is no interview for the IBPS RRB 2024 Office Assistant exam. The final selection will be based on the marks obtained by a candidate in the mains exam of RRB Clerk. 1/4th marks will be deducted for every wrong answer attempted by a candidate.
