RRC CR Apprentice Notification 2024 has been released by Railway Recruitment Cell via Notification No. RRC/CR/AA/2024 to invite online applications from interested candidates for engagement of Act Apprentices for imparting training under the Apprentices Act 1961 in the designated trades at Workshops/Units in the jurisdiction of Central Railway against 2424 slots. RRC CR Apprentice 2024 Eligibility Criteria
1) Educational Qualifications
- Matriculation: Candidates must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of 50% marks, in aggregate, from a recognized board.
- ITI Certificate: Candidates should also possess the National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or Provisional Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training/State Council for Vocational Training.
2) Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 15 years.
- Maximum Age: 24 years as on 15/07/2024.
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
3) Other Criteria
- Medical Fitness: Candidates must be medically fit to perform the duties of an apprentice as per the standards prescribed in the Apprentices Act, 1961.

How to Apply for RRC CR Mumbai Vacancy 2024?
- Visit the official website of RRC CR at rrccr.com.
- On the home page look for the “Click here to Apply Online !!” under showing Online application for Engagement of Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 for the Year 2024-25 and click on it.

DOCUMENTS TO BE UPLOADED Candidates are required to upload the legible scanned copy of following documents:
- SSC (Standard 10th) or its equivalent mark sheet.
- Certificate for proof of date of birth (Standard 10th or its equivalent certificate or mark sheet indicating date of birth or school leaving certificate indicating date of birth).
- Consolidated mark sheet for all semesters of the trade in which applied / Provisional National Trade Certificate indicating marks.
- National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT or Provisional National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT /SCVT.
- Caste certificate for SC/ST/OBC candidates, wherever applicable, Disability certificate, in case of PwBD candidate.
- Discharge certificate / Serving certificate, in case of candidates applied against Ex-Servicemen quota.
RRC CR Apprentice 2024 Selection Process
- Selection will be based on a merit list prepared from the percentage of marks in matriculation (minimum 50% aggregate) and ITI marks in the trade of apprenticeship.
- The merit list will be created by averaging the marks of matriculation and ITI.
- In the event of a tie, the older candidate will be preferred. If birth dates are the same, the candidate who passed the matriculation exam earlier will be preferred.
- A final merit list will be prepared cluster/unit-wise, trade-wise, and community-wise.
RRC CR Apprentice Stipend 2024
The selected candidates will undergo one year of apprentice training. One of the important factors that candidates often consider while applying for apprenticeship programs is the stipend provided. In the case of RRC CR Apprentice Recruitment 2024, the apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 7000/-.
